Windows XP: How to disable CD-ROM Autorun?

Must it be done with %26quot;Administrative tools%26quot; or from %26quot;regedit%26quot;, changing the %26quot;allocatecdroms%26quot; key?

I need it because I have two DVD's that contain Trojan viruses in Autorun (checked with Kaspersky). I just want to copy the data in those DVDs, delete the autoruns and burn them again, because it's important data.
