I only have one account, but after switching to DSL internet, i lost my administrator privileges. I tried going to %26quot;run%26quot; and typing in %26quot;regedit%26quot; to change the values there, but it comes up with an error and doesnt work. I dont even have a control panel anymore. I dont want to reinstall the OS because i dont have the disc. any input would be great. Thanks.How do I get admin privileges back in XP???
Quick question before I can help...What is the exact error you get when you try running regedit?
