How to remove fastbrowsersearch address bar search, (autosearch)?

i have almost got it out, i have been working on this a while. fastwebsearch installs itself in many places without permission, it completely took over all the search options on my vista computer. i will list what i have done to remove it



1. i removed fastwebsearch from the accelerators options page.

2. uninstalled it from programs and features list

3. uninstall did remove the program,but not the entry listed (dead link when uninstall tried.), i removed the entire registry value folder for fastwebsearch listing in programs and features (display name removal only)



the next one is what i did that didnt work to restore the autosearch to default, far as i know it should have.

4. i went to HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Int?Explorer\SearchUrl within regedit

and changed the default value to,



home.microsoft.com/access/autosearch.asp?



Is there something wrong with this string? im lost and need help to get my address bar autosearch back to defaultHow to remove fastbrowsersearch address bar search, (autosearch)?
just a remind, you need to stop the process and explorer before you remove it.

it is a malware, you can try some tools for it.
