How can I get of this virus?

My computer has been recently invaded. Luckily, I was able to save most of my needed things on a CD. However, this virus has taken complete control. It has actually set itself as the overall administrator, so now I, the real administrator, am continuously limited. I tried msconfig, it won't allow. I tried regedit for registry, it won't allow. Many programs won't even start. I can't even change my desktop background. I tried Malwarebytes, AVG, and some others. Those barely even stratched it's effect. Please may you help me. I believe that this is a Cryptor Trojan Horse or something if that helps. Thank you.How can I get of this virus?

Your best bet is going to be completely reinstalling the operations system, ie. windows xp, windows vista etc. Unfortunately if you can't get it away with normal tools you are pretty much done for.How can I get of this virus?
Some Viruses edit the registry of you PC. Even they are removed with an anti virus their effects remains.

Try scanning for viruses in safe mode. Also try the things you did in safe mode. If all still fails, reformat your PC since you already have a back up of your important files.How can I get of this virus?
You'll have to reinstall your operating system.

Go for avast I used it some time a go when XP was at it's best.

XP is outdated now but frankly its a good little OS.

To day I use the Ubuntu. The security is the best I will say that. I have no problem with spyware or virus.

And I will always thank Linux for a good job.
