no way to do it

unless at startup you go to safe mode and find another supervisor (admin) account without password protection that is not visible in full modeAdmin pasword recovery on Win XP or VISTA from limited acount?
You can change the password on windows xp using the software at

http://home.eunet.no/~pnordahl/ntpasswd/

I have used this to help my ex when she managed to lock herself out of her laptop.

the downside is if your data was encrypted with the password then that data will be unusable.Admin pasword recovery on Win XP or VISTA from limited acount?
Well... not that I'd know of.

Good luck... did you lock yourself out of it?Admin pasword recovery on Win XP or VISTA from limited acount?
Why can't you remove or change it? Is it a work or friend's computer? Heh...

Here's a great utility that allows you to CHANGE it -- not recover the one already set though.

Check here for some other options like using John the Ripper and other cracking utilities.
